Marketing Content Creator

High school or college student with interest such as marketing / social media / video editing / graphic design.

2 to 3 hours per week (or more if you like!) in a virtual format on a time flexible schedule, for a period of at least 6 months.

Excellent writing and communication skills.
Creative, able to generate new ideas and improve upon others’ ideas.
Outgoing and willing to take initiative to get to know You Discover Math’s teammates & activities.
Familiar with, or willing to learn the use of tools like Canva Pro to create templates for social media content and to use existing templates to develop new ready-to-share content.
Able and willing to communicate your schedule availability with teammates regularly.
Excellent teamwork skills.

As You Discover Math’s programs create stories worth sharing, convert those stories into ready-to-post materials, using your talents in writing and YDM’s tools like Canva Pro.
Help create content (graphics / flyers / short videos) ready for posting on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
Learn about You Discover Math’s cause, mission and vision, programs and people. Use your talents in writing and communication to produce ready-to-post materials that inform YDM’s audiences about our purpose and activities, and that encourage members of the public to get involved.
Work together with other Marketing teammates to maintain a small inventory of templates, so that we can implement a consistent online presence.
